Driver Role with Community Benefit Focus!

We are now looking for several drivers who want to join us on our journey! The positions consist of three summer temporary jobs focused on driving a swap body truck, container truck, or crane truck.

Your Role and Responsibilities

All drivers in our team help each other, but we have different areas of responsibility depending on the role:

• As a driver for our swap body truck, your main task is to empty containers at our recycling centers and operations within the municipality. The tasks also include helping to manage and maintain the inventory of waste containers. A CE driver's license is required to drive this vehicle.
• In the role of driver for our container truck, you are responsible for handling containers such as delivering new containers, picking up broken containers, and maintaining existing containers for our customers throughout the municipality. Tasks also include managing and maintaining the inventory of waste containers.
• As a driver for our electric crane truck, your responsibility is to pick up bulky waste (e.g., appliances) throughout the municipality and place waste containers. In this position, your tasks also include managing and maintaining the inventory of waste containers.

To assist in the work, we use a tool, a data terminal in the truck called Vertigis-mobile. Other tasks that are natural in the role at the Collection Unit may also occur.

You are the face of Hässleholm Miljö in this position and meet our customers/community residents in a friendly, humble, and informative manner.

Who You Are

Regardless of which of the three positions you are interested in, you must have a C driver's license and a valid YKB. One of the positions also requires a CE driver's license. If you also have a crane license for at least 18 tons, preferably for over 18 tons, it is an advantage for the role. Access to a valid ADR also allows for greater variation in driving our different vehicles.

You have knowledge and experience in computer registration. It is also an advantage if you have basic knowledge of Vertigis-mobile.

As a person, you are:

• A meticulous, organized, and flexible person who is not afraid to try other vehicles and tasks.
• Someone who masters the Swedish language in both speech and writing to communicate well with our customers and colleagues. Other language skills are an advantage.
• A team player who can work in a team as well as independently.
• A lively and proactive employee with good physical fitness, who is not afraid to pitch in regardless of the weather.

Conditions and Application

In this position, you will work weekdays between 06:30-15:00. The need consists of three temporary positions to cover during the holiday period and is 100% with a start in the spring for training.

The Waste Management Business Area is responsible for the collection and treatment of municipal waste in Hässleholm. The assignment also includes operating six recycling centers and informing residents about waste issues. We ensure that waste collection works smoothly for both individuals and businesses and that it is easy to reuse and recycle as much as possible.
